Web/Creative Coder at PlusOne Amsterdam

At PlusOne® we’re looking for a passionate Junior Web/Creative Coder Intern to join us at our beautiful office in Amsterdam. If you're eager to grow your skills in web development and creative coding, this is the perfect opportunity to work on real-world projects while gaining deep insights into both the creative and technical processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on building and maintaining interactive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript;

• Develop modular front-end components using React;

• Assist in creating innovative web animations and visual effects;

• Contribute to creative coding projects, utilizing libraries such as three.js and p5.js;

• Work with the team on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;

• Engage in brainstorming and ideation for interactive project concepts.

Required

• Basic proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML;

• Some experience with React or other front-end frameworks;

• Availability for 32+ hours per week;

• Eligible to do an internship in the EU;

• Nice to work with

Preferred

• Interest or experience in creative coding (three.js, p5.js, etc.);

• Experience with Typescript;

• Enthusiasm for web animations and effects (CSS animations, WebGL, GSAP, Motion.dev);

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite;

• A passion for visual design and user experience.
