This role is part of our Experience & Engineering business team. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.
JOB PURPOSE
During this internship, you will hit the ground running like you're the Usain Bolt of Interaction and UX design. You'll be part of our talent program, we'll shape you into becoming the best of the best. We'll give you all the attention, feedback, GIFs, and high fives that you need to grow into a professional that stands out. We'll make sure you reach your full potential. By the end of your internship, you'll have a ton of experience in this field and working with A-list clients. Oh, and a portfolio that blows everyone away of course. Functie-eisen stagiair (kennis, vaardigheden, houding, ervaring, competenties): KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Jump into ongoing awesome projects such for clients as Tikkie, de Bijenkorf, NS and Samsung;
Defining a structure for a website based on the client and user goals;
Turning that structure into usable wireframes;
Helping set up and conduct usability testing and research;
Turning test and research results into insights;
Building clickable prototypes.

Show a passion for understanding and empathizing with users to create outstanding user experiences.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are passionate/crazy/nuts about UX design;
Have an impressive portfolio or have worked on cool projects;
Have experience in working with leading design tools such as Figma;
Availability of a minimum of 4 days per week, from September 2024 for a duration of 5-6 months.
Hoe is de HBO-begeleiding georganiseerd?: During the internship, students at DEPT will receive support and guidance from assigned buddies who will provide mentorship and assistance throughout their journey. The onboarding period will be particularly focused on providing additional support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition into the internship. The workload will be carefully balanced with the help of the manager to ensure a manageable and enriching experience. DEPT values students from various educational backgrounds, with preferred disciplines including marketing, business administration, communications, and data analytics/market research. This diverse range of backgrounds contributes to a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment at DEPT.
Ervaring met eerder begeleide stages : DEPT has a proven track record of effectively supervising and mentoring interns. Our experienced team provides guidance, regular check-ins, and constructive feedback to ensure a valuable learning experience. We offer opportunities for interns to contribute to real-world projects and gain practical industry insights.
